With progress comes excitement and some frustration, both of which we will experience this year. As in the past, we will continue to move our students to a higher academic level of performance. As always, this takes dedicated, hard working, compassionate staff. This would be our commitment, as a district, to you. Many changes will confront all of us this year. I have been so pleased with the way parents have adjusted to a very significant change in the drop- off /pick-up requirements for mornings and evenings. Student safety is critical for all of us, and you responded well to the change. Thank you.
As the site preparation, and parking lot are being worked on, I again was reminded of the incredible community response that has made this all possible. The future for the Pillager students, indeed looks very bright.
A community that keeps its eye on the correct target, the children, will succeed in developing a heritage that will last a long time. Challenges and modifications will be necessary throughout the year, and we as a district will do all we can to keep you, the school family, informed. We count it a privilege to serve your family.
