Pillager Physical Education classes are participation-based classes, in which all students have an opportunity to excel. Four areas that are addressed during class are lifetime fitness, wellness, muscular strength, and muscular endurance.
All Physical Education classes meet everyday for the length of the course, either trimester or semester. Students will have access to the weight room, gymnasium, and outdoor facilities. We also integrate pedometers and heart rate monitors into the activities for students to learn and understand the importance of monitoring their physical activity.
Students will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, the following units may be taught and explored:
