Ms. Lisa Pettit
me_4
I was in second grade when I decided to become a kindergarten teacher and after 25 years of teaching I still can't think of ANY job I'd rather be doing!  I grew up on a farm in Fort Ripley and attended school in Brainerd.  I graduated in 1987 from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. and began teaching kindergarten at Pillager Elementary School in September of that year.  I did my graduate work at St. Cloud State University.  My husband, Mike, teaches jr. high and high school math at Pillager School. Our two children, Michael (18) and Jenna (16), are students here at Pillager.  When I'm not teaching kindergarten, I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, playing guitar and singing.
