HS Credits Class of 2013
Seniors graduating in 2013 need a minimum of 45 credits to graduate. Listed below are the number of credits needed in the specific subject areas. Failure to meet credits in the designated subject areas may result in a delay of graduation.
Social Studies - 6 PHS credits
English- 6 PHS credits
Math - 6 PHS credits
Health/Physical Education - 1 PHS credit
Computer - 2 PHS credits
Science - 6 PHS credits
For every three credit course taken at Central Lakes College it is worth 1.5 Pillager High School credits. If you are not sure of where you are at, please stop in and see Mrs. Turner.
Text Book Policy 2012-2013
PSEO Students at CLC:
At the end of each semester you must return your text books to the bookstore at the college. Do NOT return them to the high school. If you do not return your books, you will be charged for them.
LSC Honors Online:
If you have textbooks from semester one for your online classes please bring them to Mrs. Turner when you are done. If you do not return your books, you will be charged for them.
Senior Interviews Fall 2012
The week of November 14th-18th Mrs. Turner will begin senior interviews. During the interview students will go over their credits and discuss future plans after high school. It is encouraged for PSEO students to call and set up an appointment to go over this information. This information will also be sent via mail. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call at 746-2116!
PSEO Student Registration
If you are planning on registering for spring semester at CLC you will need another PSEO form for spring. It is YOUR responsibility to come in and get it. If you have any questions regarding this form you may contact me at 746-2116. Hope all of you are doing well, and please feel free to stop in at the high school and say hello!
Dollars for Scholars Student Application Scholarship
The Pillager Dollars for Scholars application will be available in the Career hallway in early March 2013. All senior students planning on attending college should apply. Application deadline to come. All senior students should have filled out a green Dollars for Scholars form which was mailed to you, and return them to Mrs. Turner as soon as possible! Don't forget to volunteer at a Dollars for Scholars event. More information to come.
Student scholarship opportunities will be posted on the web under scholarships. Hard copies will also be available outside of the Media Center. If you have any questions regarding scholarship opportunities please see Mrs. Turner.
HONORS ONLINE STUDENTS THROUGH LAKE SUPERIOR COLLEGE
Students interested in taking an online course through Lake Superior College can have the opportunity to register for spring 2013 starting Wednesday, November 20. See Mrs. Turner to register.
