How you can help...
Pillager Ed Foundation
Mrs. Roxanne Cibuzar
Reading is my passion!  It is my desire that my students become life-long readers and lovers of books. Through Middle School English classes students will be exposed to a varitey of reading experiences including; contemporary books, read-aloud classics, biographies and Grimm's Fairy Tales.  I assess my students to guide them toward their independent reading level and I listen to my students to recommend books they will love to read.

Middle School Syllabus

High School
First Semester: Concepts in English for 10th graders

Note: Second Semester: Mr. Ihrke for English Class

The student will read books that are not hard or boring so that they can build automaticity.  This is one way a student can increase his or her reading grade level.  If a student is behind in reading...40 minutes a day.

My teaching career began on an island in South Carolina in 1973 after graduating from the University of South Florida.  Since then I have logged in over 22 years of teaching in between motherhood and homemaker.  For the past 15 years I have taught middle school and high school Reading and English classes.  My greatest accomplishment in the field of education was earning my K-12 Reading Specialist License at the University of Minnesota.
